The site has a very small view of the lake, but it was ok as long as you went down by the water. It has the largest fireplace I've seen though - very interesting to see how much rock was used. The site opens up inside the forest canopy quite a bit, but it is hilly so it limits tent pad locations a bit. I can't imagine there is a lot of airflow in this site during summer months, but it worked for us in the fall.
