Good shallow water landing. Above average site & firegrate area that should be adequate for most groups. Log seating was lackluster and presuming privacy may be an issue on this lake.

Overall a solid BWCAW site.. not as luxurious as the other 2 on John lake.. But way more private! Bee hive still exists as mentioned in other review.... was absolutely a non issue for us.. Also landed lots of Hammer Handles from the shore.. Good landings and garages
Don't be discouraged if this is the only site available on John Lake...

Would have rated this 4 stars, except there was a beehive in one of the trees right by the landing. The whole area was humming with honey bees so I was reluctant to hang out on the nice driveway.
Other than that, it has a nice view of the lake and the hill on the South shoreline. The other two sites looked a little nicer yet, but they were taken.
