Decent site. Tent pads have a bit of slope and landing not the best, but a perfectly respectable wilderness campsite.

Bad canoe landing. Firegrate area in tough shape as well. Not alot of room, small groups only. I would recommend moving on unless this was the last/only option.

This site would be my last choice on Mesaba if I returned again. Heavily wooded with only a narrow view of the lake. There are two small tent pads, but those with larger tents should find a different location. Redeeming qualities include plenty of wood and textbook location to hang your bear bag.
