I think this is the better of the two campsites on Eugene, but that is debatable. It is definitely flatter than the site at the narrows. The landing can be slippery, but is OK overall. Firepit is a bit small, but functional. Good hammock options, limited tent options. Nice views of Eugene.

Narrow site with a nice view of the the northern Eugene lake segment. Mosquitoes were certainly an issue. Two best tent pads were to the right of the landing area. Another could be setup left of there but will have a slant. Plenty of options for hanging a bear bag.

looked like a real nice site. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Caught pike and smallmouth trolling through this lake.
