One of my favorite site in all the BWCAW. Nice kitchen out of the wind and protected tent sites. Also plenty of room on shore to fish. Only camp sit on the lake!!!

First folks in here this season - nice site that might accommodate a couple tents. We did fine with two hammocks. Best canoe landing ~50m south. This lake is a gamble, because if the only site is taken you've got work to do to get to the next one! We are batting 50% so far on that...

Take this campsite and put it on any other lake and it would be a simple 3-star. The fact that this is the only campsite on the lake really boosts its appeal. The fire grate is generally well protected from the wind. There is a large rock slop for relaxing and many fishing spots along the campsite's edge.
