Pretty large and open. Lots of very slippery sharp rocks at the shoreline, but good shore fishing opportunities. Bay landing was nice but disgusting with tons of muck, so get your water from the rocky shoreline and not the bay. Only stayed here a night but I recall decent tent, hammock, and tarp options. Prepare to see and hear a lot of motor boats.

Spacious site with great views, winds are unimpeded when blowing. Very good kitchen area and plenty of firewood available.

really liked the site on a point with north and west views and the rocky hill with more views, the photos already up do a great job of showing off the site. I'm not picky on tent pads, a few are close to the fire pit others a bit south. we had dueling thunderstorms one north and one south rolling by that evening but we were dry. the only drawback is the toilet is practically in the site, just enough bushes that only your head shows while you're busy, seemed a theme on this years trip-other areas I've been had a bit of walk to the john

Landings on both sides of the peninsula. The one on the east side is better. It is a sandy, shallow landing. Large pines are throughout the site. Roots are all over, so that limits the tent pads. Great view from the site. There is a trail from the campsite to the top of a rock with an amazing view of Snow Bay and surrounding area. This campsite is at the edge of the motor area (at least on the BWCA side), and it shows some use.
