We stayed at this site with a group of 8 and had 5 tents. The tent pads are a little uneven and you have to get a creative with their placement around camp, but we made it happen. The rocks surrounding the site make for an excellent day hangout spot. We also caught 3 fish right from the big rocks on the shore. Swimming was super accessible. We were hoping to get site 908 on S Temperance but it was occupied.

Shallow water landing. Excellent firegrate area & log seating. Lumpy tent pads and long walk to the latrine. Awesome fishing pier, sunrise/set viewing peninsula a short walk from camp; which provides an incredibly beautiful view north up the lake. Extraordinary amount of downed timber around camp; and the lake. (remnants from the '99 windstorm???)

Best site on the lake with a great landing area and plenty of large trees for shade and the hanging of hammocks. You wont want anything bigger than a 4 person tent as there isn't a good tent pad. There also aren't any that are level.

Our group felt this is the best site on the lake. Upon arriving to North Temperance, all three were unoccupied so we checked them all out. Definitely has the best view of the three. There is a nice rock outcropping you can lie down on, watch the sunset, and even go swimming from. Good tent pads are hard to come by, but we managed to squeeze 4 tents in just fine. Numerous hammock spots. Quite a hike to the latrine though!
