Opener weekend, other two sites were taken, but this site yielded walleye benefits. Heavy tree coverage, flat tent pad, and several hamock options. Limited shore fishing access, but three guys were able to catch walleye from shore at dusk. The other sites appeared to be more open with far better views, but the fishing from this site made the camp worth a one night stay.

Easily the most secluded site on this lake. Canoe landing isn't the best. Kind of a 3 tiered site. Unfortunately a couple of young girls in our group set up their (cheap) tent on the very nice spot nearest the lake. Well we got hit with an epic rain storm and all the water funneled down to their spot leaving 3-4 inches of standing water in their tent. Live 'n' learn. Surprisingly others in the group forgot their tent poles but were situated on the high ground and stayed relatively dry, providing refuge for our 2 soaked girls. We can laugh about it now 'cause we're alright!

The site is private, pretty small and rocky landing. We put one large 8-man tent up on a space you could probably fit two small tents. There is a third spot for another small tent, but is on dramatically lower ground - I would be nervous in rain. Perfect bear bag spot on the trail to the toilet. We had some luck fishing Walleye from the shore in the evening at dusk.

Pretty nice and sheltered site. Good lake view and quite private. Plenty of wood.
