The wind took care of any bugs. Rocks are pretty across the bay. Kids loved catching frogs.

Sometimes you have to take what you can get. We didn't want to venture on and risk the site on Weird being taken so we stayed here our first night on the way to Cherokee. Really nothing to like about this site.

Magnificent marshy mosquito mansion, good only in a pinch or maybe dry or cold weather.

this site is located in the small bay back to the east -not at the point like most maps show. The fire grate is close to the lake, but doesn't afford much of a view. There is a nice area for 2 maybe 3 tents but, overall the site is very low lying & marshy - so bugs will almost certainly be a major problem.
