Nice quiet sight, the South portage to the lake is OK, long with a hill, North portage harder. Central clearing off rock beach for tents is nice. Probably only sight on lake with long portages to next sight might result in bushwhack night.

An awesome parking garage provides a safe harbor & excellent landing for the canoes. Temendous firegrate area provides ample seating and great view. Plenty of excellent flat tent pads for larger groups. There is evidence of the Famine fire (2006) very near this site. But the site itself was unscathed.

Nice west facing campsite. Private, semi dead end lake. Moose activity, fair fishing, interesting burn area. Great fire area. Only thing missing was a kitchen rock.

A nice site with one very good tent pad and a nice landing. There is one good spot to fish from shore into a little bay. Hooked a couple of good pike. Ran into a young moose on the way to the latrine in the morning. Lots of moose evidence and an old antler decorating the site.
