This is probably the single most famous overlook on the BRT and likely in the top three in the BW for the volume of photos taken of it. This is due, in part, to the relatively easy access. The view is spectacular from the top of the massive Watap Palisade, one can see back into Rove and even as far as some of the high points of Rose with the relatively slim lake bodies of Rove and Watap winding along the US border. There are no campsites on the US side and only one on the Canadian so most folks are just passing by this spot.

One of my favorite spots in the BW is right here, no matter what activity I am doing. I have hiked from the landing on Rove and the Daniels Spur Trail. I have paddled here from plenty of different directions. Every time is special. It's a bit of a hike up to the top, but many people do it making this one of the more recognizable overlooks in the BW.

I have been at the bottom many times! It's beautiful from down here. Has anyone hiked the face... we almost did, but were running short on daylight.
