The West Rose Overlook is likely the best on the trail and adorns the cover of the trail guide. It's relatively famous for the spire which extends from the cliff face. On a clear day, the view extends from Rose through Rat and South, over the Laurentian Divide at the Height of Land into North Lake. This view is well-earned as the top is nearly 400 feet above Rose.
