The easy day trip version of the Caribou Rock Trail is here with the popular overlook of Bearskin Lake stretching out below. This is also one of the few great sunrise overlooks on the Gunflint Trail

This overlook is an easy day hike from the parking lot and sits before the more challenging stretches of Caribou Rock Trail. It's also one of the better sunrise spots on the Gunflint which is why I would visit it with some frequency when living there.
