By the big old boulder. Typically, you can just hop your canoes over a little stick pile up south of the boulder.

Up and over the beaver dam was easy enough.

I believe this portage is supposed to go around the beaver dam, but we didn't locate the "land portage" option. It was easy enough to just lift the canoe over the beaver dam rather than get everything out of the water.
