From the Telescope Lake side at the entrance of the creek, the beavers have built a 3-4' beaver dam that requires a pull over or slide down depending which way you are going. No American fly-in guests at the outpost in 2020, has given the busy bodies time to build it up. Otherwise the portage is an easy walk through a pretty forest.

A good portage trail, easy to find and follow and well used. This is part of a network of trails used by a fishing lodge on Douglas Lake.
