This portage was completely burned by the 2021 fire right down to bare rock. Basically an open field between the two lakes. Follow the north side of the creek, if heading east, to the low spot down to the lake. Otherwise it is a steep drop along a ridge. Don't go this way.

Coming from Haggart Lake, this portage actually starts a little ways south, along the creek. No, it doesn't scale a vertical rock cliff as depicted on the maps and on here!
