The Ken51 2021 fire completely burned this portage right down to the moss and even left some of that as ash. Most of this portage is now an open field on the west side of the ridge. The east side is less burned so more deadfall to climb over to get down to the lake. There is a rock cairn on the west side marking the start. I was unable to find the portage start on the east side, so for now make your own path. 2023 Update: I had time, so I tried to re-build this portage. I think I found the old trail. You should be able to follow my orange flagging and rock cairns. I found the east side entrance and marked it with orange flagging tape. Should be ok until the dead tree falls over.
