Portage is burned out from 2016 fire but well marked. A few up and down ridges to climb. Found lots of blueberries during the 2018 Sept. long weekend mid way along the trail. *2023 Update*: I took an afternoon and brushed out this portage with a handsaw and added some rock cairns as needed. The young jackpine were growing in thick and blocking the trail. Much better now. Orange flagging tape is marking the north entrance and a rock cairn is marking the south entrance. For some strange reason, I did not find any blueberries in 2023? I guess they were only plentiful right after the fire.

Entry point more West than what shows on this map when approaching from the North. With the recent burn, the entry pointed is marked by flashing tape and hard to find. The trail gets lost among the burnt out forest
