A well concealed portage that likely doesn't see much use. Both the landing and trail desperately needed to be trimmed back during our visit - it might be more efficient/less hassle to just bushwhack the short distance just prior (north) of the actual landing. It's a short up hill to Pipe Lake which had a gothic cathedral of deadheads in the bay just out from the landing.

This is a steep little up and over for a short portage without particularly nice landings on either end.

This portage goes up and over an extensive beaver dam. It has gotten longer than the maps from 15 years ago (visited when the beaver dam first appeared and this was a doozy that time - it's been adjusted since, thankfully)

Invisible up the hill portage, on the corner the small inlet on the west end of the lake, didn't see the stream shown on the map. As usual I couldn't find it, unless it has a clear landing with a gravel path I have a hard time finding things.
