Portage? What portage? Now it is starting to look like a PMA! We coudldn't find this one. Between all the fire mess and the regrowth there is nothing that resembles a portage here anymore. There is a moose trail, but it is in a different location and heads a different way. We were able to walk in to Nawakwa, but there was no dragging the canoe in.

This portage is a tangled mess - much more challenging than the portages leading into Fish Lake.
