This portage is not long, but really tough. Going from Tea Lake over has quite a steep climb for a good 150 Meters, and is real workout for even an expert portager. It's also a tricky Take Out as there is no beach area or level graded shore line. It's all boulders, and if the lake is choppy as it usually is, the rocks will be covered in water making manoeuvring safely difficult for most. On the other side the decent is not as long but is steep and footing can be very tricky as you approach the Manitou lake, so take your time. The Put-IN is not bad once you get there.
