An initial short steep climb out of Spoon tapers off then passes by a small pond before ending at a nice landing on Pickle. There is a small brook emptying into Spoon just off the trail.

Rocky narrow landings on this one. We had to go one canoe at a time, but not bad once the portage starts.

Crazy steep landing on the Spoon side, a bit hard to see too, otherwise not a terrible portage.

The landings on this one are a bit steep and rocky. At least in the fall.
