This was rough. The sun was setting and the Little Pony vanished a hundred feet before this portage. We found ourselves wading and boulder hopping towards the trail. Finally we made it. The south end is equally rocky and makes it a mine field to "paddle" through in the dark.

Watch out for false portage sign. When you think you are there, you should actually push on through the narrow creek further to get to the actual portage.
