Extremely difficult to find the takeout coming from Jean Lake. The beginning of the portage is impossible to see from the water. You have to drag your boat at least 50m across the bog to the treeline, then must walk along the treeline until you see the trail.

Really focus on getting back as far as you can go in the outlet. Tricky though, in low water years.
