Really challenging to find the start of the trail. Similar to the portage entering Boulder Lake, the beginning of this portage is VERY difficult to find from the water. Must haul boats through the bog to get to the treeline then walk along until you find the trail.

No sign of any real portage. Paddled into outflow area and did more of a liftover than actual portage. Plenty of water on Fair side in spite of overall dry conditions elsewhere. (Going east to west.)
