very short, easy portage, can see through the trail to the end quite flat and dry with good landings on both sides

Easiest portage in the park.

Agree with previous comments, it was wide open and one of the easiest of the entire trip. Enjoyable. Great landings, clear and wide as can be. We actually grabbed some fallen birch bark which came in handy during the rain later on.

A welcome change of pace after portaging around other areas of the park. As Joe_Schmeaux stated, about as easy as it gets.

The landing is sandy at McAree, rocky at Minn. The trail is dry, wide enough for powerboats, as easy as it gets.
