There is no landing at McIntyre, just a steep rock slab where you try to unload while keeping your canoe from being blown away by the wind. When your boat is empty, you can drag it up the slab to the first available flat spot, then carry it from there. The rest of the portage is a short steep climb up a rocky slope to a good landing at NoName. Overall this is a nasty portage.
