Quite an adventurous route. We came from the north from the bay on the west side of McIntyre. The portage starts off fine, but quickly turns into a total bushwhack. Really tough going. As soon as we could we got back down to the creek and rode that down to Robinson. I wouldn't plan on going this route again, personally.

Do not take this portage unless you want to bushwack up the creek to the impassible rapids and bushwack east to the faint portage trail among lots of downed trees. The portage has not been maintained recently and there are trees down everywhere.

I could not find this portage. Instead, I waded the canoe upstream through most of this section. The bottom of McIntyre Creek is sandy gravel, but the creek is twisty, with varying depths and some deadfall. Maybe going downstream it isn't too bad, but I would recommend looking harder for the portage if you're heading north.
