Really not a bad portage. Good landing on North Temperance side for getting the pack on just right and throwing the canoe over your head. Pretty easy to spot. This one goes by quickly. 3/10

Rocky, shallow water landings on both ends with room for pack staging. Moderate ups & downs along a well worn trail.

After the short paddle on Sitka we reached this portage. It wasn't all that bad outside of our snowy conditions. The hill wasn't all that bad and the landings were fine.

Somewhat challenging longer portage with one steep section on the N. Temperance end. We took this portage west to Sitka, then to Cherokee. Compared to that next portage it's not bad, but still not easy.

From Sitka to North Temperance, the only challenge with this one is that it is right after the Cherokee/Sitka portage. On its own, nothing to worry about.
