Both landings are tricky but not overly complicated. Pretty views of the river from parts of the trail too.

Fairly tough landings and a little climb. This is a fairly narrow portage too. All in all, worth the work to get to Fishdance.

Fairly significant climb on both ends. Both landings are also a bit of a pain. Otherwise the mid section of the trail is mostly level across a good path.

I agree with the earlier comment. The east end of this portage is a real b! *$...

This little portage has a climb. First you must climb straight up over the rocks at the waters edge (on the east side) to even begin the portage. We had to unload, hand things up the rock and then manhandle the canoe up the steep boulders to get started. Then the trail goes up from there.
