Doesn't look like it would be much trouble on the map but, when heading south into East Pipe Lake there is a pretty decent hill to surmount. And, upon arrival at the southern landing, we were greeted with a massive 'boneyard' of beaver sticks. (It appears the old boardwalk has fallen into a deep state of disrepair?) Quite the spectacle but, was kind of like walking on semi-floating roller pins to the awkward muddy landing.

The water was very shallow on the north end and made for some muddy walking to the portage
