Quick portage with almost no elevation gain. A few rocky drops here and there. Some sections were a bit muddy but nothing to worry about -- especially since I walked the portage a day after a major thunderstorm that dropped an inch or more of rain in the area. The planks leading over a marsh were in good condition. Ella lake looked nice.
