Easy portage. Trail is frequently traversed and maintained. Gently climbs the fifty feet to Beth.

At the end, there are excellent cliffs for cliff jumping.

Nice portage. Some elevation climb going into Beth, starting with a rock "staircase" at the beginning. Even with a lot rain, the trail was dry with only a couple of muddy areas.

around a half mile but completely doable. The elevation does have some change but it's not overly steep. Makes for a nice day hike without a canoe if with the scenery of Beth lake and trails near portage
