The river landing was fairly decent. Trail has a very short initial climb and then mostly levels off for the remainder of it's course to Gull. There's a preponderance of knobby boulders along the way and the Gull Lake landing has it's share as well.

Appears that it could be about 20 rods shorter with the beaver dam where it is. The north landing looks like a heavily traveled beaver path. We actually paddled right by it thinking that very same thing, had to turn around to get to the "beaver path" after coming to the beaver dam and not seeing a landing.
