Unmaintained. Many down trees on climb after knee deep push through bog. Many small trout.

Kind of a tricky landing on the Pine side. Especially in rougher water. The trail starts a short climb immediately from the lakeshore before leveling off. It then passes through a marshy area that will almost certainly be wet & muddy. The trail is hard to follow through this area as well. Then the ascent begins! A mostly straight path climbs steeply up a somewhat overgrown trail before dropping gently back down the last few rods to the shores of Gadwall.
