The water was too low to paddle through the nearby creek but the good news is the forest service was in the process of cutting a new dryer portage as we went through. Talked to the crew a bit, it looked like a lot of work!

We didn't try to paddle through since I forgot about that. There was some flooding and tricky footing, but we managed to go through pretty quickly

I was warned that this trail is now quite flooded thanks to the beavers. It is also quite easy to paddle the channel to the south and skip the portage.
