I took a little day trip back here to see High Lake. It was a pretty area. There were white caps on both High and Dry the day I was there. This portage has a little muddy landing on the Dry end, crosses the hiking trail pretty shortly thereafter, and then winds up, across a bridge, and onto High. Not a difficult portage at all, and quite scenic.
