This isn't a bad little portage. There is a good deal of mud along the way, but that comes with the territory.

This was the worst portage of our trip (from Lake One to Alice and back to Snowbank). While the path is visible, there is a lot of encroaching brush, and MUD! Two of our scouts had a shoe sucked off in the deep mud. It's obvious that this portage doesn't get used a lot, but our outfitter told us NOT to use the Kawishiwi river route and risk banging up his canoes.
