Thanks for the feedback. If you want to take those off your default, you can. After getting the map to where you want (turning options on/off, centering/zooming the map), go to the menu. Under "Other Options" there is a button that says "Set Current Map to Default."
This is computer and map specific, meaning it is only good for the map you are on and the computer you are currently using.
I don't really want to take those defaults off for everyone since new users will not know how to turn on the photos.
Hi Ben: Just renewed my membership and thought I'd take advantage of the invitation for feedback. One improvement I would suggest is that the interactive maps include fewer data elements as the default. For example, I think member photos and non-existent campsites clog up the map unnecessarily. If I need to see those, I can easily click on the menu.
