I took the Flying-Fay portage out of the Route Builder after a conversation with Andy McDonnell at Tuscarora Lodge. The portage has "gone back to nature" and essentially does not exist right now. The USFS may start to maintain it again, and if that happens, I will connect the portage to the Route Builder again. I left a comment to this effect on the portage, and it appears from previous comments that the portage has been semi-impossible to find and navigate for the past few years.

To recreate:

  1. Build a route -> BWCA -> Entry point 52 Brant Lake.  Flying lake is two lakes west of Brant.
  2. Click on the end of the Fay -> Flying lake portage (NW side of lake)
  3. Click on the end of the Flying -> Gotter lake portage.
  4. PP displays a red line and "Error - Disconnected Location.  I get this error clicking anywhere in Flying Lake starting from this portage.

Strangely PP navigates fine from Bingshick lake portage.
