I am about to pull the trigger on purchase of a Hyperlite Mountain Gear Dyneema, UltaMid 4 tent.  (HMG 20% off sale through 2/23/26).

Would use it for some trips to BWCA (and backpacking trips), but somewhat concerned about its huge footprint for use at BWCA campsites:  111 in by 111 in,  85 square feet area inside; 75 in tall at center pole.  Mostly worried about that large footprint and finding suitable tent sites in BWCA.

Has anyone out there used this tent in the BWCA??  Any experience/reports would be very welcome.

HMG makes a smaller, UltaMid 2 which has smaller footprint of 107 in by 83 inches, but thinking I would buy larger size as it's only about 10 ounces more and provides so much more interior space.
