@MontanaPaddler, if you are out there and see this, you recently reviewed portage 647, saying:

"In surprisingly good shape for a PMA portage in a burn. Didn't really present a navigational challenge, but it is a tough portage in general with a lot of up and down. The real challenge of this route is getting from Judd to Rock Island, where there is no old portage and the creek is not navigable."

I am wondering if you found a way from Judd into Rock Island, and if so, what did you do? I'm headed that way next week and your intel sounds like it was from this month. Thanks!
