Can anyone offer me any help finding the campsites reviews. I click on the site and check the rate icon or look for it on the bottom like the portage reviews come up but i'm not seeing anything for the campsites to see this info. I'm new and learning. Not sure this will work, but here are some screen shots to help. (I can't seem to adjust size of screenshots, so they may be large) If you are in interacitve map view on "Explore" (not 'Build a route'), click on a campsite you want information on. Here is sceenshot showing campsite # 1229 on Ensign Lake:
Look at the black bar at the bottom of the map that now shows "Campsite 1229" with its star rating. Simply put your curson on top of that bar (over the words "Campsite #1229" for example) and click. That should open a popup box that has tabs for campsite information, ratings, my ratings, and photos (if any photos have been posted). Click on any of those to see that content. Some campsites have no ratings or photos, but most have at least written ratings (by date posted). Here's another sceenshot that shows that (after clicking on black bar at bottom of map): And, after "Ratings" tab on above screen is clicked, here is what you will see (past user ratings that people have posted). In this example, only one rating has been posted:

This particular campsite on Ensign has had no photos posted, but if there were photos, another tab "Photos" would appear below the "My Ratins" tab. Click on that to see all photos users have posted. If you are signed in to Paddleplanner, you can click on "My Rating" to post your own review of this (or any) campsite. Hope that helps. Edited by user Tuesday, March 17, 2026 11:22:53 AM(UTC)

Thanks the pics must be too big to show up but that gives me an idea of where I should be looking. I do remember it being that way before but for some reason its not showing the campsites along the bottom bar. I'm going to try another browser and see if that makes a difference. I tried a different browser with the same results, when I click on the portages the reviews and pics do show up in the bottom bar and I can click on it Edited by user Tuesday, March 17, 2026 12:24:28 PM(UTC)

Campsites should work the same as the portages. Which campsites are you trying to access? BWCA or somewhere else?

Thanks for replying, I'm trying to see the reviews in Quetico on Pickeral Lake to start. I've clicked on many of them just to see if I can get any to appear in the black box at bottom and haven't had one show up there yet. Thanks for any help.

I am not having any problems viewing them. Something may be blocking it on your computer. Which browser are you using? You could press F12 to open the developer screen, try to click on a campsite in Explore mode, and see if there is an error. The upper right shows the number of errors. Clicking on the number opens the console at the bottom where you can see the error details. It might tell you if something is blocking it or some other error.

I've tried both Chrome and Edge and neither works on my computer. I did try my work computer and it worked fine there so assuming its something on my end. I don't understand code but this is what see when i hit F12 if i'm doing that right.

That error wouldn't cause what you are seeing. It is more of a warning than an error. You could try using an incognito window to see if that fixes anything. If it does fix it, it might be a problem with cookies or files, which you could clear.

So here is what I figured out, it was my Nord VPN causing the problem. When I disabed the program it still didn't work so I uninstalled it and it worked great. Wanting to dig a little deeper I re-installed it and again it would not work. So I went deeper into the setting and turned them off one by one until I found the one causing the problem. It was in the Ad and Tracker Blocker setting and it was the URL Cleaner, so when I leave it off it works fine. Thanks for all the help. Mike

Glad you figured it out. Seems weird that it flag the campsites as ads and not the portages.
