When will the boundaries of the 2026 fires be added as a map layer? It would be helpful when trying to plan fall 2026 trips. Thanks for the great planning tools!

I usually wait until the fire perimeters are set (fires are out) so I don't have to import them twice. I'll look at adding these ones sooner, though.

Ben, I just went through this exercise today updating my Lowrance fishing enthusiast map for the BWCA and Quetico. I have the shape files clipped to just include the 2026 fires affecting the BWCA and Quetico. If it would save you time, I would be happy to send you the clipped shape files. I understand the fires could start back up again and the boundaries might change, but it is a starting point.

The files have been sent. Fingers crossed we don't lose any more areas to fires this year and that the current fires smolder out.
