Since I introduced the route details report last year, it has run pretty slow. I thought it was just because it was a massive amount of data (which it is). This week I decided to see if there was anything I could do to improve it, and there definitely was. I made a lot of performance improvements, and it has made a big difference. For example, calculating a route from Lake One to Snowbank was taking 12 seconds; it is now down to 2 seconds. There are still a few things I can do to get that number down further, but I thought this was good enough to announce.
