For planning purposes I would like to go to and from a base campsite for multiple days. A return to the same campsite doesn't seem to be allowed since it won't register as a new stop for day two, or three, or four. Even the return to the original entry won't register. Either I or the software needs some help. Probably me. Thanks, Route Planner Newbie

Are you here "free" or a paid "map enthusiast" member? I think you need to be at minimal paid level to do what you're asking. I'm going to go test it. Just tested it and was able to do a continuous route and return to a "base camp" many times. Edited by user Wednesday, September 16, 2026 5:38:34 AM(UTC)

Right now it is not easy, but it is possible. If you are trying to measure taking day trips, set up the route as you normally would. For the last point going back to the campsite, click on a place close by. Then drag the point onto the campsite.

To the first responder, thank you, I am a member at the Expedition Leader level, so should have access to all tools. To the second responder, that is how I solved the issue, by using other campsites close to the same distance from a portage entry to the overall trip distance and times would be close. Will try the positioning close to the campsite then moving and see how that goes. I appreciate your trying to assist.

I think I picked points very close to the camp site. But Ben should know, it's his app!
