Well, for the last 2 years my yearly trip was cancelled due to health issues and the death of my Dad. Wanting to do something out of our norm. tThinking of going to Lake Batchewaung in June of 2027. Is it normally buggy at that time. How is the fishing there?

June is peak bug season in Quetico...blackflies, mosquitoes, ticks and if you're really lucky, a hatch of stable flies. Doesn't keep me from going, but prepare accordingly. This past June I quite literally got more ticks on me in 24 hours than I had in my entire life to date.
Batch has good lake trout fishing.
