We have our June 10th #44 Bottle River Permit, and are looking at all the alternatives on a 10 day trip, with a pick-up at Black Ribe Portage on the 19th. Lakes that may be on the list: Roland, Argo, Cone, Elk, Hurn, Ted, Earl, Brent, McIntyre, Suzanette, Conmee, William, Darkwater, Wicksteed, Gratton, James, McAree. Any ideas? I can't be of much help since I have never been in that area (other than hiking Warrior Hill - which I would recommend taking the time to do) So this looks like your proposed route - Bottle River to Black Robe I like the proposed route. You go through some great lakes (so I've heard), and it should leave you plenty of time for layover days and fishing. You could change it to go through Poohbah, but I think I like your proposed route better. You could extend it to go through Burt (or further) if you want. I sure would try to make it up to Poohbah. Some awesome fishing in that lake. I got some hot spots on the GPS I would be more then happy to share.

I think Poohbah is beyond our range, we did consider Poohbah as our original destination, but we selected the more southern loop instead. And the Memory Lane Portages are a bit too much for us. Maybe another time. Thanks
