Hey,

Experienced canoer & camper.  Three person group going back to the BWCA mid-Aug this summer and need some advice on a route; we're planning on three nights (two nights in one spot) on the water .  Nice relaxing & easy few days.  Anyone have an opinion on which to do or not do from these below?  I'm also open to other suggestions if you got them but we'll be heading out from La Tourell's as an outfitter.

Choices:

  1. Mudro Lake Loop - https://goo.gl/DyFWv3
  2. Fall Lake --> Moose Lake - https://goo.gl/gyUj5A
  3. Snowbank Lake Loop - https://goo.gl/Cj9ohu

Loop #1 is a great loop. I was there this past September. If it is possible try to get campsite #1116, it is great (A #5 site in my opinion). While you are on Fourtown why not take a day trip to lower Basswood Falls. It will take most of the day (roundtrip) but it is a fantastic site to see. Enjoy your trip and don't limit it to 3 days.

Thanks! It'll be a Saturday --> Tuesday thing. I've heard of the basswood falls so thanks for reminding me of that location
