I'm thinkig of making a spontaneous trip next week (May 13-19)   I'm looking to put in on Big Sag at the end of the GFT.  Any ice out and fishing reports from lucky campers/locals that have already been out?   Weather looks to be in the lows 60s for highs and 40ish for lows with rain on and off.    Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I won't get up there for a couple weeks yet, but one of the outfitters posted an ice out notice on Facebook this week. Appears Sag is all clear and good to go.

If Sag is open, I imagine quite a few of the other lakes are as well. Maybe a few of the really sheltered ones will still have some ice, but full fledged canoe season is really close at hand.

Best of luck
